The evaluator has 161OS2c assumed that this is a subsequent version of the information 161OS3c presented in 2008PaZV, which has most of the same authors. 161OS c {+161}Os produced via the {+106}Cd({+58}Ni,3n) reaction, with values of 161OS2c E({+58}Ni)=290, 300 and 310 MeV. Enriched (96.5%) self-supporting 161OS3c target of thickness 1.1 mg/cm{+2}. Reaction products were separated 161OS4c in-flight in a gas-filled separator and implanted into double-sided 161OS5c silicon-strip detectors. Measured T{-1/2}, E|a and generic relations 161OS6c among members of the decay chain. 161OS c 2010Bi03 report |a peaks having energies of 6890 {i12} and 161OS2c 6580 {i30}, with the latter having a branching ratio=5.5 {I31}-22%. 161OS3c These authors assign these as transitions to the {+157}W g.s. and an 161OS4c excited state at 318 {i30}, respectively. With this identification, 161OS5c Q(|a)=7066 {i12} is implied. 161OS L 0 (7/2-) 0.64 MS 6 161OS2 L %A AP 100 161OS cL E assumes that the observed activity represents the {+161}Os 161OSxcL g.s. 161OS cL %A The theoretical calculations of 1997Mo25 give a value of 161OS2cL 167 ms for the |b decay halflife of {+161}Os, suggesting that |a decay 161OS3cL is the dominant decay mode for this nuclide. 161OS cL J proposed configuration is |nf{-7/2}, proposed by 2010Bi03 161OS2cL based on an analysis of the |a branching to the {+157}W levels, 161OS3cL assumed to Be (7/2-) and (9/2-) for the g.s. and 318-keV, 161OS4cL respectively. The {+157}W g.s. assignment was proposed by 2008PaZV 161OS5cL based on the observation that, among the expected available orbitals, 161OS6cL only |nf{-7/2} accounts for the |e feeding with comparable intensities 161OS7cL to the 11/2- and 1/2+ levels in the daughter nucleus, {+161}Ta. 161OS cL T from analysis of the decay of the |a peaks using the method 161OS2cL of maximum likelihood, 2010Bi03 deduce T{-1/2}=640 |ms {i60}. 2008PaZV 161OS3cL report T{-1/2}=590 |ms.
