Singh (McMaster), Jan 23, 2021 143I c 2020Wu04: {+143}I nuclide produced at the RIBF-RIKEN facility in 143I 2c {+9}Be({+238}U,F) reaction at E=345 MeV/nucleon and an intensity of 143I 3c 5pnA. Identification of fission fragments of interest was made based on 143I 4c time-of-flight (tof), magnetic rigidity (B|r), and energy loss (|DE) 143I 5c using the BigRIPS spectrometer, determining atomic Z and mass-to-charge 143I 6c ratio A/Q, where Q=charge state of the ions. The separated nuclei 143I 7c were implanted at a rate of 100 ions/s in the beta counting system 143I 8c of the Wide range Active Silicon-Strip Stopper Array for Beta and 143I 9c ion detection (WAS3ABi), which included a stack of five Double Sided 143I Ac Silicon Strip Detectors (DSSSDs). The WAS3ABi setup was surrounded 143I Bc by Euroball RIken Cluster Array (EURICA) array of 84 HPGe detectors 143I Cc for |g detection. Half-life of the separated and implanted ions 143I Dc was determined by fitting the time distribution of |b(implants)- and/or 143I Ec |b|g(implants)-correlated decay curves to the sum of activities of 143I Fc parent nuclei, daughter nuclei, grand-daughter nuclei, |b-delayed 143I Gc neutron daughter and grand-daughter nuclei, and a constant background. 143I Hc Comparison of measured half-lives with FRDM+QRPA (2003), FRDM+QRPA 143I Ic (2019), KTUY+GT2, RHB+pn-RQRPA, and DF+CQRPA theoretical calculations. 143I L 0 182 MS 8 143I 2 L %B-=100 $ %B-N=? $ %B-2N=? 143I cL %B-$only the |b{+-} decay mode is expected and detected, followed by 143I 2cL |b-delayed neutron decay 143I cL E$the observed activity is assumed to correspond to {+143}I g.s. 143I cL T$from 2020Wu04, fitting the time distribution of 143I 2cL (implanted ions)|b|g-correlated decay curves to the sum of activities 143I 3cL of parent nuclei, daughter nuclei, grand-daughter nuclei, |b{+-}n 143I 4cL daughter and grand-daughter nuclei, and a constant background.
