Chen (FRIB, MSU), October 8, 2022 184RE c 2022JaAA: source of {+184}Re isomer is produced by irradiating a 184RE2c natural Re foil in the MARIA research reactor at the National Centre 184RE3c for Nuclear Research (NCBJ) in Poland. |g rays were detected with 184RE4c two HPGe detectors. Measured E|g, I|g, |g(t). Deduced isomer T{-1/2}. 184RE L 188 8(+) 177.25 D 7 184RE cL E,J$from Adopted Levels of {+184}Re in ENSDF database. The neutron beam was generated from 184RE3c the T(d,n){+4}He using the K-400 intense neutron generator at the 184RE4c Chinese Academy of Engineering Physics (CAEP) for |?17 h. A disk of 184RE5c natural Re target sample consisted of 37.40% {+185}Re and 62.60% 184RE6c {+187}Re was sandwiched between niobium and zirconium foils used to 184RE7c determine the neutron energy. The |g-rays were measured using a HPGe 184RE8c detector. A total of 14 measurements were made at different cooling 184RE9c times ranging from 25 d to 205 d and individual spectra recorded for 184REac 1 d. Measured E{-|g}, |g(t), I|g. Deduced T{-1/2} and the isomeric 184REbc ratio of {+184m,g}Re using neutron activation cross section formula. 184RE c The deduuced isomeric ratio 0.29 {I11} is the weighted average of 184RE2c 0.2955 {I1107}, 0.2868 {I1074} and 0.2913 {I1091} calculated using 184RE3c 792.067 keV, 894.760 keV and 903.282 keV |g-rays emitted both by the 184RE4c isomeric and the ground states, respectively. 184RE cL E,J$from Adopted Levels of {+184}Re in the ENSDF database. 184RE L 0 (3-) 35.43 D 16 184RE cL T$35.43 d weighted average of 35.12 d, 36.16 d and 35.00 d measured 184RE2cL using 792.067|g(t), 894.760|g(t) and 903.282|g(t), respectively after 184RE3cL correcting contributions from the decays of the isomeric state 184RE4cL (104.739|g, 161.269|g, 216.547|g, 318.008|g, 920.933|g and 184RE5cL 1173.770|g) in 2022La12.
