Chen (NSCL, MSU), December 24, 2019 217TH c 2019Zh54: {+217}Th ions were produced by evaporation reactions of a 200 217TH2c |mg/cm{+2} natural tungsten with 190 MeV {+40}Ar beam from the Sector 217TH3c Focusing Cyclotron of the Heavy Ion Research Facility in Lanzhou 217TH4c (HIRFL). Evaporation residues (ERs) were identified with two multi-wire 217TH5c proportional counters (MWPCs), and implanted into three 217TH6c position-sensitive strip detectors (PSSDs) combined with eight 217TH7c non-position-sensitive side silicon detectors (SSDs) for detecting 217TH8c escaped alpha particles and three punch-through detectors behind PSSDs 217TH9c as veto for light particles. Measured E|a, I|a, Er-|a and |a-|a energy 217THAc and time correlations. Deduced parent T{-1/2}. Comparisons with 217THBc available data. 217TH L 0.0 (9/2+) 249 US 11 217TH cL J$from Adopted Levels of {+217}Th in ENSDF database (2018 update) 217TH cL T$from time correlation between evaporation residue (Er) and the 217TH2cL subsequent |a decay to g.s. in {+213}Ra (2019Zh54).
