McCutchan (NNDC, BNL), May 20, 2024 96SE c Fragmentation reaction used to produce {+96}Se isotope at RIKEN 96SE2c facility. Primary beam: {+238}U at 345 MeV/nucleon; 96SE3c target=4-mm thick Be. Fragments identified by energy loss, 96SE4c time-of-flight, and magnetic rigidity using the BigRIPS separator 96SE5c and ZeroDegree spectrometer. Tof was measured using two plastic 96SE6c scintillators, B|r from trajectory reconstructions using 96SE7c position-sensitive parallel plate avalanche counters, and |DE 96SE8c using a multisampling ionization chamber (MUSIC). 96SE L 0.0 96SE2 L %B-=100 96SE cL %B-$decay mode not observed, however, inferred by compiler 96SE2cL as only energetically allowed decay mode. 96SE cL $230 counts assigned to {+96}Se by 2024Sh17, which are assumed 96SE2cL by the compiler to correspond to the g.s. activity of {+96}Se 96SE cL $Measured production |s=1.98 |* 10{+3} fb (2024Sh17)
