McCutchan (NNDC,BNL) November 6, 2025 98TC c A sample of 2.67 g K was measured at the University of Cologne 98TC2c Clover Counting setup of the Institute for Nuclear Physics. Measured 98TC3c E|g, I|g using a pair of detectors each consisting of 4 coaxial N-type 98TC4c HPGe crystals. The sample was enclosed in a cylindrical lead container 98TC5c to suppress beta radiation, Bremsstrahlung and most of the 89.5 keV |g 98TC6c from beta-minus decay. Total measurement time of 407 hours. Deduced 98TC7c electron capture decay branch. 98TC L 0 6+ 98TC2 L %EC=0.29 3 $ %B-=99.71 3 98TC cL %EC$from number of 722.6 and 787.4 gammas following |e decay 98TC2cL relative to 625.4 and 745.4 gammas following |b-minus decay.
